Talk about modeling! These four took turns rolling about, flashing smiles, and making each other laugh. Their mom, Barbara, got them all to laugh outright for the group shot. Feeling blah - look for some color!

Feeling a bit blah the other day, I took my camera with me while I went about my errands. Vivid color was catching my eye. Here are a few of my favorite. I love the deep blue but like the composition of the brown background. The shadows of the flinches challenged me to use bright lighting. Which one is your favorite?

2007 Laramie Bridal Show

Kassi & Kim joined me in talking to the couples that attended the 2007 Laramie Bridal Show in the UWYO Union Ballroom. We enjoyed seeing new and old friends and catching up. Kim and Kassi have both missed their callings - they excel at our low-key sales approach. Thank you again Kassi and Kim for taking time to share with others why you chose Shober Photography as your wedding photographers.

Mountain Valley Beauty and Bridal showcased their gowns in a walking fashion show. We took a quick minute to photograph the ladies - I was asked by this one if her and the other flower girl were included when I said "ladies". Of course, my answer was Yes!

I had the pleasure of meeting Melissia Edwards & Newly Lemons. Melissia was modeling for MVBB, so Newly came to the Union in a tie for a quick traditional engagement shoot. I am hoping they will humor me with doing our new street engagement session - they go and play and I go play with the camera. Thanks Melissia and Newly for working quickly with me!

Kassi & Jason are getting married March 31!

I just had the pleasure of having lunch with Kassi, our lastest bride to choose Shober Photography as their wedding photographer. I am so excited to photograph their wedding party at the Country Club in Laramie- red, black and cream go beauitfully with the Club's new red walls and covered entrance! Kassi already has that glow about her, so she will look great in her photographs.

Cute Kid Contest 2007 - Benefiting sustainable charities

Help others help themselves with the Cute Kid Contest 2007 - Benefiting sustainable charities. This year's charity, the Heifer International, gives animals and training to families in need world-wide to help them become self-reliant. Our goal is to give a Joy to the World: two sheep, four goats, a heifer and two llamas. We're curious which studio location can raise more - will Gillette or Laramie win the coveted title? Funds will be raised by voting with dollars and $5 of each print special purchased will be donated.

Take advantage of the waived creative fee to creative captivating images of your child that shows the sparkle in their personality at no cost to you. Cute Kid Contest specials from February until May. Get up to 4 8x10s for $35 of one image. One hour appointments include proofing. Online ordering is available for family and friends.
